After Rotterdam and The Hague Utrecht is another great city to explore with the camera. The canals and ancient architecture are very photogenic in my opinion.
The only disadvantage: The Downtown quays and bridges are really nasty and crowded with millions of bikes, trash(bags), beercans, condoms and dogshit. You really have to take some crazy movements to take a clean shot and keep yourself and your gear clean…
This shot is from one of those quays; and I used a polarizer and 3-stops soft grad filter.
