This shot was a little different. It was in November, back in San Diego and as I was strolling down the boardwalk at Pacific Beach, of which is all concrete, and I saw this guy with this little dog. I’ve seen this guy out here a lot and he’s usually panhandling but not on that day. After I walked about 15 feet past him, it dawned on me that I was missing a shot. I turned and looked at the dog fast asleep on his lap and secure with his arms and hands. Total trust. I pulled out the camera and banged off a couple of shots and went on my way.
