HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014 !!! — — 3 exp. bracketing -1ev Via Girolamo Santacroce – Vomero – Naples- The park Viviani, an inlet with panoramic views of the Gulf of Naples and organized according to a path that leads to a flat area full of fruit trees, the park Ventaglieri that effectively connects two areas of the city, and finally the park Spanish Quarter, due to the historical abbey complex of the Nuns of the Holy Trinity. The park Viviani has a very large area of 20,000 square meters. It is located between the Vomero hill and the settlements of the historic center. The entrance to the Vomero panoramic views of the Gulf of Naples. The trail descends down the slope and along a series of rocky crags cleverly organized to accommodate some species typical of the Mediterranean, such as rosemary, olive, pine, which are themselves elements of attraction for wildlife, especially for pollinators. Following the path you will come to a flat area where there are lawns and fruit trees. A sea turtle surfaces for a breath, looking at the magnificent Amedee Lighthouse. I’m right behind her wondering if sea turtles actually use the brilliant antique 56m high lighthouse for navigation.
