www.IrocDisArt.Etsy.com I never considered myself to be a feminist when I was younger. I thought a lot of them were angry, man hating, male bashing women who saw men as useless and unnecessary. I didn’t and I don’t subscribe to that definition or mentality. I feel men and women can influence and learn a lot from each other. We all have male and female attributes and energies. We can contribute to each other’s growth, development, and have the potential to cultivate balance each other; if we’re open to what the other has to offer. I agree with the words of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie: “Feminist: the person who believes in the #social, #political, and #economic #equality of the sexes.” There is such a thing as a #Femanist #EqualityistheGoal All that being said, I don’t have time for scared, “scary”, insecure men who attempt to validate their position by demeaning, dismissing, threatening, brainwashing, attacking women and girls. (And vice versa) #ThatisAll “I think it’s very important for people to know that those men who are scared by women who are accomplished are the kind of men accomplished women don’t want. So it’s nobody’s loss.” -#ChimamandaNgoziAdichie #Nigerian #author #poet #novelist #activist #Feminist #truth #Nigeria #instagreat #instaquote #dailyquote #quote #dailyquotes #quotey #quotes #instagood #instaquotes #quoteoftheday #instalove #igers #instasize Leave your hate and insecurity at the door! 😍😍😘😘 @munchkiiin #repost
