This is my favourite fallow buck, about 12 years old, pure white and now an old boy, ive not seen him for about 5 months till this morning when he came out of the forest as dawn broke.

This was one of the shots that really sold me personally on this lens. The amazing clarity really shines on this shot, and it was one of the unique situations where I was actually able to frame an animal with a nice background (there weren’t always such opportunities). Note that this is stopped down one stop, but the background is still very nicely diffused. Bambi looks pretty great here! Come take a look at the review here P.S. If you are in Canada, I have a code for 5% off everything at the Amplis Store (where I get my gear). It is AMPLIS52014.
