The Sea does not like to be restrained.

Last year we had an spectacular winter in the north of Spain, in the Cantabric sea, with several winter storms with huge waves jumping over the coastal rocks. I do not remember anything similar in my life.

This winter we have already had the first storm, a few days ago, this shot is an example of what we have seen. We will have our cameras ready for the coming spectacle.

Taken in La Arnía, Costa Quebrada, Cantabria, Spain.

Another shot in this magic place known as El Madero in the famous Costa Quebrada of Cantabria. If you like landscape photography and have the possibility to travel this is a must see or better a “must shot” area due to its fantastic rock formations.

In this case I used a not too long exposure, just 1,3 seconds in order to maintain the water lines and to obtain the reflection of the sunset on the water. I hope you like it. Comments are welcome.
