A male green violetear in the valley of San Gerardo in Costa Rica. The green violetear is a medium-sized, metallic green hummingbird with glittering violet ear-patches on the both sides of its neck. This humingbird generally prefers more humid and high-altitude areas (1200 to 2300m) such as cloud forests.

While enjoying a beautiful sunset on Caye Caulker, Belize these pelicans came and perched themselves on what was left of a pier. It was like they knew exactly how to pose to get just the right shot!
