It was still pitch black to the naked eye when I took this shot, but the Alpenglow that was hitting the top of the mountains made it look like the sun has already risen. The red glow, yellow fall color and a hint of snow made a perfect morning for me.

Another photograph from this summer and the most intense storm I have witnessed.
