Please read the description
Star trails are formed due to the rotation of the earth around itself and the star positions in the sky change because of the rotational movement of the earth around the sun .
This doesn’t mean that stars are fixed , they are mobile , but their movement is slow (for us ) and that’s why they look fixed in the sky .
Star trails are formed like circles that surround the polar star .
It is impossible to capture the whole cycle of the stars around the polar star in our areas because we need a 24 hours night for the whole cycle to be completed .
This movement could be noticed and captured in the polar areas only ( that have 24 hours night ) like Kiruna the most northern city of Sweden .
That’s why I captured one image for the stars and then I made the whole rotating movement after observing the polar star , by using an action in photoshop due to the impossibility to shoot it in my area as I mentioned above and I also used the effect of fish eye after that .
Settings of the stars image :
Shutter speed 30 sec.
Aperture f/4.5
ISO 800
Total number of frames taken for the sunset is 33
Settings :
Variable shutter speed .
Aperture f/16 .
ISO 100 .
Location : Iraq / Kurdistan / Duhuk / Sersink

I also want to say that I consider the picture of Aaron Priest as a source of my picture but the procedure is different , here is the link :

Dear photographers :
Some of you may see that the picture must be under the category of (Fine Art) but I put it under ( Landscapes ) because I didn’t make any illogical things in it , even the impossible formed star trails (in our areas) occur in a part of our planet .
Regards to all , I hope that you like this work 🙂
