This is the first landscape photography that i liked since i started into photography, with the first reflex camera i owned, a Canon Xsi. It was taken in my favourite place of Ibiza island, with the view of Es Vedra and Es Vedranell islands.

The title makes referrence to the title of a CD of the group Runrig, whose song “An Toll Dubh” makes me always feel good 🙂 http://bit.ly/1twdDsJ

Esta es la primera fotografía de paisaje que hice y que me gustara desde que me enganché a esto de la fotografía. La tomé al poco tiempo de tener mi primera cámara réflex, una Canon XSi. Fue tomada en mi lugar favorito de la isla, con Es Vedrá y Es Vedranell a la vista.

El título de la imagen hace referencia a un disco del grupo Runrig, cuya canción “An Toll Dubh” siempre me pone las pilas. Si no la conoces, escuchadla a ver qué os parece… 🙂 http://bit.ly/1twdDsJ

Kirkjufell, Grundarfjörður, Snæfellsnes, Iceland, 31.07.14

After a long ride started at 03:30 PM in Kerlingarfjöll in the middle of Iceland I finally arrived at Kirkjufell after midnight.

This shot was done arround 3 AM. My intention was to capture the feeling of the icelandic summer, the amazing light, the light breeze from the ocean, wavy cotton grass, pure easiness.

Took this one in 20101, in the first island-to-island trip i made since i live in Tenerife. Previously to my trip i made some researching in internet (with the great help of Google maps) as i wanted to visit some of the saltworks in Canary Islands (most of them in the eastern (and flatter) islands. Before moving to Tenerife, i was living in Ibiza island, whose beautiful saltworks turned to be one of the best places to be during the popular Ibiza sunsets.

Tomé esta fotografía en 2011, en uno de los primeros viajes que hice entre islas desde que vivo en Tenerife. Antes del viaje estuve indagando un poco sobre las diferentes salinas que hay en Canarias (principalmente en las islas orientales). Antes de mudarme a Tenerife, estuve viviendo en Ibiza, cuyas hermosas salinas me resultaban uno de los mejores lugares para disfrutar de los populares atardeceres ibicencos.
