You can see my time lapse work from Arctic Norway including scenes similar to this photo at: http://bit.ly/1wcu50A or click here.

Also, I started a Facebook Page so if you wanna follow me there, click here and click like..or go to http://on.fb.me/1svP5dy

So, back to the photo….First of all, yes, this dreamlike place actually exists. It’s not a photo trick. The location is one of my favourite landscapes of all times, South Tyrol (Süd Tirol in German), in North Italy. The highlight of the place is the historic church of Sankt Maddalena (Saint Magdalena, Santa Maddalena, Santa Magdalena, various names in different sources and languages given the multilinguality of the region, take the one you like) in foreground and the great Dolomites in the background. I wanted to name the photo after the saint whose name represents both the church and the village.

As of the photo, I can say I have followed my usual path, used a stack of a GND, an ND and shot in RAW. Which usually achieves what I like to produce.

For those who like traveling and hiking, South Tyrol is strongly recommended, both summer and winter. So it was a part of my road trip back in the summer of 2013 and I barely found time to post this one. Anyhow, better late than never, I thought…So stay tuned, more coming.
