On the fourth Saturday of each January, the dead grass of Mt. Wakakusa is burned in an annual festival known as Yamayaki.

Although the Stellers Sea Eagle on the right hand side and the White-tailed Eagle on the left hand side don’t seem very impressed one has to admit that the look in the eye and the spread wings of the incoming Stellers Sea Eagle certainly do have something impressive.
