In life we aren’t always sure. Doubt is a part of human nature and we all experience it at some level. Did we do it right? Is it correct? What if I’m wrong? Doubt that grows out of control is the fuel of inaction and the sibling of failure. But sometimes we do know. Sometimes, there is no doubt. And when I pressed the shutter to capture this moment I knew….epic.

I decided to post one more Mesa Arch shot. I like the POV on this one even though you don’t see the sun poking through the arch. It being January I wasn’t as ambitious about camping and backpacking as I may have been otherwise. I’m looking forward to exploring the Needles and Maze Districts in the spring when the temperatures are a little more agreeable. But for now I’m happy with what I got from Island in the Sky, even if they’re some of the more cliche shots.
