This place is a magnet for tourists but sometimes they stop in the most awkward of places. It does however give a little sense of the scale of this road and the different light that you get at the end where they are standing and the darkness that you get in the canopy of the trees. This was in late September and early one misty morning and it was still lingering a little which helped show of the trunks of the Beech trees.
