With only 5 weeks until the OOAK Photography Adventure season starts it’s time to lace up the hiking boot, charge up the batteries and work off the Christmas pudding. My first adventure is in one of my all time favourite parts of the world, Tasmania. My team and I will get to spend 2 full days at Cradle Mountain with a night at the Scott Kilvert Hut with plenty of astro sessions and sucking up the coal smoke from the fire.

As a landscape photographer we spend a lot of time in the dark wandering the earth in search of the next stunning location and epic light, well I know I do anyway. I like to think I’m a shadow boxer, dancing around in the dark and the shadows looking for light.

On another OOAK adventure around Tasmania we braved the 80km winds until the sun hit the horizon and for the briefest of moments everything settled and blew our minds with sweet golden light!

Having just celebrated Australia Day I had some time to look through my sessions with the amazing Opera House and discovered this little gem when the Queen Elizabeth 2 sailing into our stunning harbour, this occasion was not only special for the fiery sky but the message on the ship, Marry Me Jess?

Once again all your support is appreciated!
