Waking up on subarctic temperatures, wading through knee deep snow, scouting for new locations and enjoying nature’s showcase are some of the few reasons why I enjoy doing this adventure.

Lake Louise is surrounded by beautiful mountains and a majestic Victoria Glacier which offers activities such as snow-shoeing, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and skating. It also houses one of the Rockies most iconic hotel that was built more than a century ago, The Fairmont Chateau Hotel.

Luckily blessed with a crisp and clear yet freezing sunrise weather during the last few days of 2014. A classic view of Lake Louise in winter. I can spend the whole day shooting here. Can’t way to visit and experience an emerald lake during summer and spring seasons.

One of the world’s top destination, New Zealand’s most famous destination – Milford Sound

Milford sound is on the south west of New Zealand’s South Island within the Fiordland National Park. Waking up on a clear and crisp morning of autumn 2013. The tides were calm enough to do reflection shots shocasing one of it’s famous mountains, Mitre Peak.

A short sunset hike towards Tasman Glacier Lake. One of my favorite hikes from our late winter trip last 2013. An ever-changing scenery backed by Mt. Tasman and a side peak of Mt. Cook. This place greets you with huge and loose icebergs of all shapes and sizes!

Planning yet another July 2015 trip. Hope to catch this lake on a dead winter season. Have a great weekend everyone! Cheers!

Approaching the near end of my rockies adventure, this is one of my favorite locations in Banff area. Chain of three lakes just a few meters apart showcases Mt. Rundle. Its been said that this is one of the most photographed places in Banff area.

Blessed with a good-cloudless weather, I chose to visit it on a sunset. Perfect timing for the setting sun to kiss the tips of the mountain. Crawled slowly towards the edge of the thin ice, not minding the cracks, set-up my shot and clicked away. Golden hour just before the light turned red. This was taken at the third stop of the lake. Enjoy!
