FireSky
I took this last month as last minute as it could possibly have been. I was actually drinking some beers at The Bruery in Placentia with my girlfriend and our friends and watching the rain pour down outside. I was debating whether or not to head to the coast and shoot what could be a potentially good sunset. After all just because it was pouring down rain in Placentia did not mean it had not partially cleared toward the coast. I was messaging Daniel Ryan Seeks who was in the same boat. We were both procrastinating like crazy. Finally I made my decision and jumped in my car and headed to Corona Del Mar. Daniel did the same and we got there just in time. As I was getting ready to head down to the beach I heard my last name being called and knew it had to be Leigh Anne Langman. Sure enough she got there at the same time. She was a tad bit more prepared then I however and headed down to the beach first. Point of fact we all missed some really stellar light and color, but caught the tail end of what was a rather impressive sunset.
Some of you have already seen my first posted shot from this evening titled FireWater. http://bit.ly/1yRTdMZ
That was taken a bit later than this shot and has a slightly different feel to it. I hope you all enjoy this one as well!

PLEASE view on black for better light!
This is another photo that I need to upload right away. This was taken yesterday in San Diego around the Scripps Pier. I’ve never been to this pier or taken any photo about it. So this is my first time here and I guess It greeted me with a great sunset. After work, my friend came and pick me up to go to this beautiful place to take photo. At first, I didn’t want to go but luckily I’ve decided to join him. Btw, this is my first time taking photo of flower in landscape. Hope to have some suggestion from y’all to make it better. This is one of my favorite shots I’ve taken. I’ll upload more later!

Thanks for stopping by everyone! ๐Ÿ™‚

This is yesterday’s sunset at Corona Del Mar beach! After work, I saw the beautiful sky and I guessed it would be a great sunset. So I went to one of my favorite SoCal beaches to take photo. I planned to go to Victoria Beach in Laguna but I worried about the tide that not high enough to take a photo that I have in mind. So I changed my mind and stopped by Corona Del Mar. There was low tide when I got here. So I need to get further from the shore to catch the wave. The ocean greeted me with huge waves and giving me and my camera a bath! ๐Ÿ™‚ But I think it worth to get wet to have this photo! I love the texture/motion of the wave plus the beautiful colorful background. It was a wet and great evening indeed! ๐Ÿ™‚
