Unearthing some of my remaining New Zealand shots. This was taken last autumn of 2014. First time to have witnessed a sky flaming like crazy over Lake Tekapo. Playing the soundtrack of The hobbit 2 and looking for Smaug the dragon while I was processing this photo. Hahaha!
I miss New Zealand. Its about time to go back one more time. Maybe this coming july? I shall call it the epic winterscapes of the south! Lol! Quoting from my friend on the other side of the planet, Mr. Felix, “It’s like going back to one of my favorite spots minimum once every trip is like meeting an old friend with a beer. It was tastier than ever.” Cheers!

Mount Cook – New Zealand
This is an image of Mt Cook reflected in a small opening of the frozen over Hooker Lake in Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park on the South Island of New Zealand.
The image has been flipped 180 degrees to give it an abstract appearance, almost like looking out of an ice cave at the peak of Mount Cook.
I hope you enjoy it.

when conditions are right, ocean water would blast through the blowhole into the air. I was there for 2 days but didn’t have the good fortune to witness this phenomenal 😦
