Carnic Alps stretch about 100 km along the Austrian-Italian border in the East Tyrol. On the Austrian side, beneath the highest peak Coglians / Hohe Warte (2782m) lies Wolayersee lake (1951m)

You can see my time lapse work from Arctic Norway including scenes similar to this photo at: http://bit.ly/1wcu50A or click here.

Also, I started a Facebook Page so if you wanna follow me there, click here and click like..or go to http://on.fb.me/1svP5dy

This shot belongs to my trip to Austria/Germany/Italy. The place is called Seceda peak, at Odle mountain ranges of Val di Gardena, in South Tyrol or Italy. I have used my Nikkor 14-24 2.8G 78 seconds and a large aperture to get the result. What made this mysterious look is the rapidly changing sky and long exposure. I have also shot a time lapse and also looking forward to post it soon. By the way for those wondering, this and the previous similar version are different shutter speeds, this one has 30 seconds while the other one was not least than double of this, there that reveals more cloud here…

Please view with a black background, the white one is just terrible and ruins the whole picture!
