Another long walk down to the plane’s gate at Heathrow, inverted the image (along with various other adjustments), because……..because……..why not? 🙂

Like pretty much everything in Japan, this place gets really crowded during the day. I had been there the day before and was nowhere close to getting a nice shot. So I took my red shaky Japanese tourist bike the next morning, past the the crowded streets in the outskirts of Kyoto, up the winding pathways to this location. There was indeed only the occasional photographer and jogger – oh yeah, and one police car coming up this path… It felt like a completely different world, so calm and serene. Just listening to the bamboos moving with the wind really gives you a feeling of inner peace.
