The title is a hint to the truth, and then the tags give a better clue. This was a composite shot, a test, mainly for 500px as they seem to love composites.

However I treaded very carefully, so only someone who has been to this location will know (if they pay attention) that this was an impossible shot 🙂

I really like iconic lone trees, and this is no exception. Before leaving Wanaka for good I wanted to capture this tree correctly. The colors are very hard to get right at this location, hopefully this turned out naturally enough. Available for your home here: http://bit.ly/16dnVnp
