There is a fish on the ice in between the talons of the Stellers Sea Eagle on the right hand side of wich the the White-tailed Eagle on the left hand side would love to have a piece.

The only thing he did get was a look at it, but furthermore……. No chance at all 🙂

We returned yesterday from Poland where we stayed 4 days taking pictures of white-tailed eagles in the hides of Marcin Nawrocki (http://bit.ly/1KhcU0T en http://bit.ly/1Cmqq45). I came back almost 9000 pictures so still a lot of work to go through them, but here are the first results.

Although the Stellers Sea Eagle on the right hand side and the White-tailed Eagle on the left hand side don’t seem very impressed one has to admit that the look in the eye and the spread wings of the incoming Stellers Sea Eagle certainly do have something impressive.

A white tailed eagle gets ready to grip the fish. A second later the catch is complete.
