Muscat Oman This is arguably be one of the most beautiful contemporary buildings in the World and I am happy to have been able to visit and take photos. The seating capacity is a maximum of 1,100 people and the acoustics are superb. The little screens on the back of the seats are a special feature of this concert theatre giving you subtitles of the classic songs performed in the language of your choice. The building opened its doors officially October 12, 2011 after building started in 2007 on the order of the ruler of Oman, Sultan Qaboos. The aim was to reach perfection in design, technology and workmanship and I think they have come close. Used the Panasonic Micro 4/3 camera as you don’t want to take a massive camera to a classical music performance, but with the Samyang fisheye I am happy with the result.
