Thank you for visiting Friends Blog, if you are friendly then let’s make friends…. so please read on.

Friends

Well you have probably heard about the famous TV series “Friends” (1994–2004) and just to pop your bubbles, this is not about that episode at all. Instead this blog is all about friendship, love, cute fights and beautiful moments that friends share with each other and cherish them.

Friendship can be defined as an interpersonal connection that starts with simple association but builds up to a much more complex, binding and enriching relationship. There are degrees of friendship such as simply friends, close friends, best friends etc. which boils down to the simple fact whom you love, like and care about most.

Best Frienda

There is a fine line between being friends, friends with benefits, romantic and sexual relations. They often overlap and synonymous with each other.  Friendship normally begins at a casual level and then it moves up friends with benefits and sometime leads to dating and even sex. So it is our choice and responsibility where do we want to take our friendship to.

In our life the person that plays a significant role after our parents and blood relations are Friends. Friends play different roles at times, like sometimes they act as your soul mate or teddy bear, sometime they can be more of a punching bag with whom you would like to settle a scuffle with and set all differences; and sometime they can act as your guardian, guiding you in difficult times. Friendship is based on sympathy, empathy, compassion, mutual understanding and caring about each other. This builds a relationship out of thin air, confiding trust and dependability through time. Since real friendships does not depend on legal, social, professional or monetary obligations, but are usually glued together by mutual interests and respect, shared values, care and love. Since there are no rules in friendship, all that matters is you and your friend.

best_friend_quotes_cute_friendship_quotesFinding true friends in this materialistic world can really be a daunting task as most of them will pretend to be your best buddy and take advantage of you and probably desert you when you are in trouble.

if you somehow manage to find a true friend, even then maintaining a long lasting friendship is really tough and requires lot of hard work from both sides, mutual understanding and love for each other. True friendship cannot defined or proved, but can be felt and it is just that feeling that makes your heart flinch when your friend is suffering.

beautiful friendshipToday making friends has become a whole lot easier albeit a popular activity on the cyberspace with the advent of social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Orkut and their likes. But there are points to be remembered while making friends online and if done correctly can provide you a rewarding experience both personally and professionally. There are some rules that can be followed to build successful relationships online.

Good Netiquettes (Not preaching or something! just cool info):

· Never say something online that you wouldn’t in real life.

· Don’t share extremely personal or private matters and your personal identification information online.

· Communicate in neutral tone and avoid sarcasm and never SHOUT (i.e. use all capital letters)

Three FriendsNow for making friends in real life where sending a friend request will just not do the job, for those shy souls who desperately try to make friends but eventually fails due to various factors. Let’s face it – befriending is an art which comes naturally to some people while others have to try really hard at it. Some friendship tips: try giving your 1 million dollar smile when you meet people, you would like to make friends with. Introduce yourself in a casual but polite manner and listen very carefully what they say. Think twice before you answer and make some casual jokes to lighten the atmosphere. Discuss topics and find out what interests them. Once the ice is broken, try calling your new friends, text them, help them and try to hang out with them. After that, start sharing your itsy bitsy personal secrets, gossips and make them feel that they can rely on you. The rest will come automatically if you intend to continue your new found friendship. Among the most challenging aspect of maintaining friendship is conflict resolution. Time and again there will be fights and quarrels over difference in opinions and to tackle all that you need to be vigilant and promptly resolve them as they happen, as leaving them unattended would escalate the problem to new heights. Try to learn from it so that you are better equipped for it in the future.

friendship

Now let’s us concentrate on other species apart from humans to gain some insight into the subject matter. We can find several examples of friendship and love exists among different species and some of them even occur among predators and their prey. Come to think of it, in animal kingdom we have seen unlikely friendships between dogs and cats, cats and mouse, tigers and deer and the list goes on. This can only prove that friendship knows no boundary, race, caste, colour and species.

Now the punch-line: If a dog can be a man’s best friend then why can’t we?

To show our love for our kinds we do donate to child care, NGO’s, animal shelters for the love of all kind. We think, if we can make a difference by helping others then so can YOU.
