I was lucky to catch a quiet and calm sunset with a bonus reflection on the first of the three stops at Vermilion lakes. I was expecting a knee deep snow field from the week long bad weather.

A showcase of Mount Rundle as the last light of our trip kissed it’s peaks. I miss the Rockies.

A few weeks back we had a tropical cyclone here in the Whitsundays where I live. I always love the rain it brings with it, as fresh water washes down the rainforest mountains and into the waterfalls and rock cascades. We trudged through water to get to this spot and loved every minute of it 🙂
