Little less than a 360° view of the oldest lecture auditorium of Berlin (Humboldt University). It’s a round hall for students watching the investigations in the middle. There is a circle, actually a lifting ramp for animals, mainly (dead) horses. They did anatomic investigations. The ‘object’ to be investigated was put on the table one level below. The table is acting as a lift. But all that was long ago. Until 2012 the place was being restaurated 7 long years and will be used for special (science related) events in the future.

Subsequent to my previous image of that place!

This panorama has a ratio 4:3 and only 80MP.

Behind the Hotel Russell is a pub called, Friend at Hand. While planning the trip I thought this was the closest pub to the hotel so I wanted to see it. Friend wasn’t the closest pub but we did have dinner there one night. The pub is just to the left side of this frame. What caught my eye was this wonderful cobblestone street leading down the row of great old buildings. This was a side of London I had hoped to see – which didn’t take long to find as this was taken minutes after my previous ‘Reflections’ image.

This image is part of the In the Mood: Featured collection on facebook: Digitally painted composite scene of a beautiful horse running through the desert at sunset. The horse, named, Kadenz is owned by a friend, Kelly Jones who kindly let me use her reference photo for this work. This imaginary scene has been created using a layering technique where parts of photographs have been blended together. All the details of the horse, clouds formation and sand have been digitally worked by hand.
