The white vertigo II | Incredible accumulations of snow on the mountain ridges strongly discourage expose themselves …. really a dizzying situation!
But this crazy winter 2014, with an incredible amount of snow on the ground, must be photographed because it will remain in history!
So here we are, snowshoeing in the foot, take advantage of one of the few sunny days so far viewed, for unleashing our cameras!
The institute Pio XII, located since 1968 on the shores of Lake Musurina. First Grand Hotel, then the summer residence of the Savoy family, even “Italian military command” in the war fought on nearby Mount Piana in 1915-1918.
In 1970 became a center for diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of childhood asthma at high altitude. Misurina enjoys a dry climate, unique in Italy.
Looking at the landscape from north to south, the look will certainly follow the majesty of the group Sorapiss the background and the silhouette of Pio XII’s institute will always be present, between you and the mountain.
